I'm regularly reminded how "lapsed" I am when I don't realize a Jewish holiday is starting unless I see the 6'oclock new wishing me a "Happy (whichever holiday)" -- and mispronouncing it!
Nathan -- I hear you. It helps that I get emails from coworkers and friends wishing me a Happy New Year. And the local schools have Yom Kippur off...
