Ouch, Ooch, Eech, Ank

That was what my brother and I used to say when walking across the hot sand at the beach in Atlantic City. I say it today about my back. I'm off for epidural #3. See you all tomorrow, because I'm already a bit drugged up, and I can't imagine what I'd be writing after my second dose of Valium. Toodles.

Hope the procedure isn't too horrible and that it gives you some relief.

Good luck. However, I must admit that I love talking to my friend Wendy when she's on valium for her occasional back problems.

I think you'd be a hell of a lot of fun hopped up on valium. Please, write a post! ;)

Thanks for the good wishes. Sorry I wasn't up to writing a post last night, although apparently I was rather amusing. Motor-mouth with a side of gibberish.

One of the secondary effects of the Valium is reduction of spasticity, which then makes me even more wobbly. But I just don't care, when I'm taking that drug.

Claudia made me lasagna for dinner -- she makes THE BEST lasagna EVAR -- and I ate 3 pieces. I hate lasagna as a rule, because I think that ricotta cheese is an abomination. Claudia uses a bechamel sauce instead of ricotta cheese. I am not above begging her to make it when we visit them or they visit us. No begging necessary this time, but I wouldn't have minded.

As for today: it hurts worse. That happened with the 2nd epidural, so I am not totally freaked out.

The Valium has totally worn off. And I spilled my coffee on my way in.

I hope you start feeling better quickly, and that this does the trick long-term.

Is your back actually getting any better with all these needles? o.O

MWT -- no, unfortunately. Early October will bring a visit to the doctor with a scalpel. We'll see what he has to say...
